Kim Lemley, CCC-SLP

Kim Lemley, M.S., CCC-SLP is licensed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as a speech-language pathologist. She graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and earned her Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Alabama A&M University. Her graduate studies included research in atypically developing speech and language skills in kindergarten children.

Following graduation, Kim completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at a skilled nursing facility in Huntsville, Alabama and was awarded the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology in 2013. Previous work experience included developing and implementing treatment plans for children with Autism spectrum disorders, delayed language, phonological disorders, stuttering, swallowing disorders, traumatic brain injury, augmentative communication devices, a range of genetic syndromes, and voice conditions, as well as typically developing children with articulation/language disorders.

Kim has recently relocated back to Birmingham and continues to provide services in which she develops and utilizes alternative diagnostic and communication strategies as well as developing individualized treatment plans. She works proactively with attending physicians, teachers, psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and other professionals to implement comprehensive and individualized programs of care for the clients and families she serves. 

Kim and her husband enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with their dogs.
